Spiritual Direction
I view practicing spiritual direction as a sacred companionship where I support others in noticing and responding to the loving movement of the Divine in their lives.
My practice is informed by my own family of origin trauma, personal psychotherapy, the deconstruction of a fundamentalist upbringing, as well as daily divine invitations to trust the reality of my belovedness. I hold creative and compassionate space for folks who long to live into the deep desires Love whispers into their soul. Often integrating nature and creativity into spiritual direction sessions, I believe both can provide a deep well of understanding, of being, and of sacred practice that bring healing to our minds and bodies and expand our experience of God.
I am an ordained minister, received my spiritual direction training from Anam Cara and have been in spiritual direction myself for over fourteen years. My practice is under the supervision of Tara Owens, and I am part of the Transforming Center network of spiritual directors.
