Soul Care Day
If you sense a longing in your soul for the healing rhythm of rest and renewal, this half-day experience might be the perfect response to that still small voice within.
Join Janine Westlund and me for a day of rest and retreat at the intersection of art, nature, and spiritual practice. If you don’t yet know Janine, I can’t wait for you to meet her! Here’s a brief bio, but trust me, spending time with her is a gift.
About Janine:
After over 35 years in education with a focus on behavior management and social/emotional development including living in Mozambique, Africa, Janine has found the heart of people to be calling and aching for care and love just like her own heart. This awareness invited her to take a deep look at the second half of her life and what God was calling her to do. Taking this deep look and listening to her internal stirrings, led her to the Soul Care Institute where she committed to doing the work for her own spiritual transformation and learning the tools to provide soul care for others. She then completed training as a spiritual director at Denver Seminary. Her deepest desire is for folks to know that they are seen, chosen, and beloved.
Held at my home among the pines in the foothills just west of Denver, this intentional and guided time will support your whole self—mind, body, heart, and soul leaving you renewed and inspired for the good work of being human in the world.
Your invitations throughout the day will include: artful soul care stations, space for silence and solitude, a shared communal meal, a contemplative trail walk, labyrinth time, art-making space, and much more.
The cost for this half-day experience is just $35 and includes lunch. Attendance is limited to just 12 participants to facilitate a wide space and a slow pace for the day.
Payment can be made with a credit card at the time of registration or at the event itself by using the coupon code CASH-CHECK-VENMO when registering.
