Rustic labyrinth designed in situ.

The contemplative practice of walking a labyrinth dates back thousands of years. The labyrinth itself can be seen as a metaphor for the journey inward to the center of ourselves and then outward to a deepened understanding and work in the world. I created this spiral version using salvaged flagstone underneath a cluster of pines. It winds its way over existing ground elements, in between trees, and up a gentle slope inviting the participant to a walk of intention inside a healing and revealing natural space.
